1. Indian students enrolled at recognized universities in India who have attained a minimum of 60% marks in their most recently completed degree, or who are currently pursuing a degree program and have completed at least two years of study:

a) For Technical domain:
B.S/B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Computer Science (CS)/ IT/ Electronics & Communications (EC)/ Electronics/ Electrical or equivalent)
or
M.Sc. (CS/IT/ Electronics/ Electrical or related fields)
or
MCA or equivalent domain

b) For Legal domain Bachelors in LL.B.
c) For Finance/Accounts domain Bachelors in Commerce, Finance or equivalent.
d) For other non-technical domain-Any graduate, preferably with an MBA in relevant domain or equivalent.
Note:- Candidates from other domains can also be considered based on requirement on a case to case basis.

2. Possessing the minimum qualifications as stated above does not guarantee an internship at DIBD. Candidates with relevant internship exposure, a strong academic background, and higher qualifications may be given preference based on organizational needs.

DURATION OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The Internship Programme shall be conducted twice a year, with the specific duration to be decided by the Competent Authority. The programme will be organized in batches, and all relevant details including schedules, guidelines, and other necessary instructions will be shared with the selected interns at the time of commencement.

The minimum duration of internship shall be two months, extendable up to three months, depending on the performance of the candidate, requirement of DIBD and time the intern is willing to spend with DIBD. Every batch of interns or individual interns will have a Mentor from DIBD.

PLACE OF INTERNSHIP: The internship will be offered at New Delhi.

HOW TO APPLY FOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

1. Interested and eligible students must apply online via the BHASHINI, DIC, NeGD OR MeitY website within two weeks from the date of advertisement. Only online applications will be accepted.

2. These applications need to be sponsored/forwarded by the Institution where the applicant is currently enrolled in or has recently passed out (mandatory).

डिजिटल इंडिया भाषिनी प्रभाग (डीआईबीडी) के बारे में

डिजिटल इंडिया कार्यक्रम के तहत इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (एमईआईटीवाई) ने राष्ट्रीय भाषा अनुवाद मिशन, भाषिनी, एक अनूठी पहल शुरू की है। मिशन भाषिनी को माननीय प्रधान मंत्री द्वारा 4 जुलाई 2022 को गांधीनगर, गुजरात में डिजिटल इंडिया सप्ताह 2022 के दौरान लॉन्च किया गया था। भाषिनी का दृष्टिकोण "भाषा बाधाओं को पार करने के उद्देश्य से योगदानकर्ताओं, साझेदार संस्थाओं और नागरिकों के एक विविध पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को सक्षम करने के लिए प्राकृतिक भाषा प्रौद्योगिकियों का उपयोग करना है, जिससे आत्मनिर्भर भारत में डिजिटल समावेशन और डिजिटल सशक्तिकरण सुनिश्चित हो सके।"

इस पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के निर्माण के लिए, डिजिटल इंडिया भाषिनी डिवीजन (डीआईबीडी), डिजिटल इंडिया कॉर्पोरेशन (डीआईसी) के तहत एक स्वतंत्र व्यापार प्रभाग। DIBD "राष्ट्रीय भाषा अनुवाद मिशन" की गतिविधियों का प्रबंधन और क्रियान्वयन कर रहा है: भाषिनी। भाषिनी (https://www.bhasini.gov.in/en/) को एक ऐसे मंच के रूप में विकसित किया गया है जहां हितधारकों को एक साथ लाने के लिए विभिन्न घटकों को एकीकृत किया गया है। भाषिनी भारत में आईआईटी और आईआईआईटी सहित कुछ प्रमुख शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के साथ काम करती हैं। ये संस्थान विभिन्न भारतीय भाषाओं के लिए अत्याधुनिक भाषा एआई मॉडल विकसित कर रहे हैं। भाषिनी प्लेटफॉर्म पहले से ही विभिन्न प्रौद्योगिकियों में 1000+ एआई आधारित भाषा मॉडल होस्ट करता है।
