The place of posting shall be in New Delhi but transferable to project locations of IndiaAI as per existing policy of IndiaAI.

भूमिकाएँ और जिम्मेदारियाँ

1. Lead the Mission Mode Projects workstream of the IndiaAI Application Development Pillar, providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and programmatic leadership across all MMPs undertaken by the Pillar.
2. Design and operationalise the Mission Mode Project Framework, aligned with the NeGP Mission-Mode implementation guidelines, including identification of priority sectoral use cases, designation of nodal line Ministries as implementing agencies, and establishment of project support structures.
3. Oversee the management of Mission-Mode Projects, including coordination with the other team members and stakeholders for solution development, pilot deployments, ensuring effective on-ground implementation and solution customisation
4. Provide leadership to the Technical Architect – AI, Solution Architect – AI, and Technical Project Manager, ensuring strong technical governance, solution quality, and timely delivery across MMPs.
5. Coordinate closely with other team members to transition successful Challenge, Hackathon, and RFP solutions into Mission Mode deployments, enabling scaled rollout across States and departments.
6. Oversee the vendor empanelment mechanism for reusable, cross-sectoral AI solutions.
7. Oversee the empanelment of system integrators to support solution rollout, interoperability with existing digital platforms, and deployment capacity across public-sector agencies.
8. Ensure AI solutions deployed under MMPs integrate with existing government digital platforms, and sectoral systems at Central and State levels.
9. Ensure all MMPs comply with responsible AI principles and applicable government standards including MeitY guidelines, CERT-In, DPDP Act, and STQC, alongside national and international AI governance frameworks.
10. Manage technology vendors and partners building AI solutions on behalf of IndiaAI — review and validate vendor deliverables (solution designs, progress reports, invoices), hold vendors to agreed scope, SLAs, and quality standards; escalate and resolve issues promptly; and oversee knowledge transfer to ensure IndiaAI retains ownership of delivered solutions.
11. Oversee the institutionalisation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for MMP deployments, including periodic progress reports, structured performance assessments, deployment site visits, and impact measurement against defined Key Performance Indicators.
12. Guide the in-house technical capacity of the Pillar, including AI developers, AI/ML specialists, engineers, and foundation model experts, to enable rapid in-house development of priority AI applications involving sensitive datasets or critical government functions.
13. Support the Pillar’s contribution to the AIKosh platform, including the Use-Case Repository, vendor registry, try-out environments, datasets generated from pilot deployments, and public dissemination of AI solutions.
14. Oversee project-specific procurement, vendor onboarding, and contract management for MMPs, in coordination with IndiaAI’s procurement and finance teams.
15. Prepare strategic notes, MMP briefs, review reports, and presentations for IndiaAI leadership, empowered committees, partner Ministries, and State Governments.
16. Lead, mentor, and develop the Mission Mode Projects team, fostering strong technical culture, delivery discipline, and institutional knowledge.
