Digital India Corporation is inviting applications for the position of Solution / Technical Architect on a contractual basis.

• Define and implement technology strategy, architecture roadmap, and solution design aligned with business requirements and organizational objectives
• Design high-level and detailed architecture for applications, platforms, systems, infrastructure, databases, APIs, integrations, and deployment environments
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and technically feasible solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, product managers, business analysts, development teams, QA teams, DevOps teams, and security teams to ensure correct implementation of approved architecture
• Guide development teams on architecture principles, design patterns, coding standards, technology frameworks, and engineering best practices
• Design and oversee implementation of microservices architecture, API-led architecture, event-driven architecture, modular architecture, and domain-driven design approaches, wherever applicable
• Review system design, database design, integration design, security design, deployment architecture, and performance architecture
• Oversee system integration, including REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, message queues, middleware, third-party integrations, and inter-application data exchange
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, maintainability, observability, performance, and resilience through efficient system design
• Establish coding guidelines, conduct technical reviews, review critical code/components, and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Implement and enforce best practices for security, risk management, regulatory compliance, data protection, identity and access management, and secure software development
• Guide the team on cloud architecture, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies
• Support architecture decisions related to databases, storage, caching, reporting, analytics, and data exchange
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption of suitable tools, platforms, frameworks, and practices for improving project delivery and system capability
• Identify opportunities for integrating Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, automation, analytics, intelligent workflows, and AI-assisted decision-support capabilities into digital platforms
• Design AI-enabled solution components such as intelligent search, chatbot/virtual assistant, document processing, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, automated classification, and AI-assisted reporting, wherever relevant
• Ensure responsible use of AI technologies by incorporating data privacy, security, explainability, auditability, validation, and human oversight in AI-enabled systems
• Review architecture for interoperability, extensibility, API reusability, maintainability, and alignment with long-term enterprise architecture goals
• Prepare architecture documents, solution design documents, technical specifications, integration documents, deployment architecture, technology evaluation notes, and technical decision records
• Mentor technical teams, support technical problem-solving, and provide leadership during critical project phases, production issues, performance bottlenecks, and technology transitions
