- Talent Identification & Athlete Development: Provide domain guidance on talent identification frameworks and athlete development pathways, ensuring the platform correctly captures and tracks an athlete’s journey from grassroots identification through developmental and competitive stages
- High-Performance Sports Advisory: Advise on processes and requirements specific to high-performance sports, including national camps, elite athlete monitoring and preparation cycles for major competitions
- Sports Science & Nutrition Ecosystem Input: Guide the definition of processes covering the sports science ecosystem, including sports nutrition, physiotherapy, sports psychology, biomechanics, and strength & conditioning, ensuring these reflect actual practice at training centres and with athlete support teams
- Recovery Management: Provide input on recovery-management processes, including monitoring of athlete recovery status, injury management, and load-management practices to be reflected in platform requirements
- Equipment Acquirement & Inventory Practice: Advise on real-world sports equipment acquisition, procurement standards and inventory-management practices at training centres and federations, ensuring related platform requirements and workflows reflect actual equipment lifecycle and availability needs
- Design Validation & UAT Support: Actively participate in design-validation workshops, wireframe/prototype reviews, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) walkthroughs and stakeholder review meetings, providing structured domain feedback and sign-off from a sports-operations perspective
- Knowledge Transfer & Mentoring: Mentor and hand-hold the delivery team and federation-support resources on sporting and administrative domain nuances, so that institutional knowledge of ground-level sports operations is embedded within the programme team and does not remain dependent on a single individual
- Adoption & Change Management: Provide advisory inputs on user adoption strategy, communication material and field roll-out plans across National Sports Federations (NSFs), training centres and regional offices, helping anticipate resistance points and recommend mitigation approaches
- Risk & Rework Reduction: Flag domain-level risks, gaps or misinterpretations of sporting processes and policy early in the requirement and design stages, so that costly rework, scope drift or adoption failure is avoided later in the implementation lifecycle
- Continuity Support: Serve as a continuity anchor for the engagement by drawing on prior exposure to existing SAI/NeGD sporting processes and stakeholder practices, helping incoming teams quickly get up to speed on domain context
- Athlete Lifecycle & Ecosystem Insight: Provide first-hand insight into the athlete lifecycle (talent identification → training → competition → welfare → transition to coaching), federation operations, training centre functioning and scheme administration relevant to the assigned area
- Functional Requirement Review: Study and validate the Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD) prepared for the assigned programme pillar(s), ensuring that each requirement accurately reflects real-world sports processes, terminology and stakeholder needs before it is taken up for design and development
- Ground-Level Workflow Validation: Work closely with the Business Analysis and Design teams to review and refine athlete-, coach- and federation-facing workflows and forms, ensuring these mirror how athletes train and progress, how federations operate, and how training centres function on the ground
- Policy & Governance Alignment: Advise the programme team on correct alignment of platform features and workflows with the National Sports Governance Framework, the National Sports Development Code, and Khelo Bharat / Khelo India policies, along with related schemes such as TOPS, SFW/ASMITA, the National Sports Governance Bill 2025 and the Sports Policy 2024, so that the system remains compliant with statutory and administrative requirements
