Digital India Corporation is currently inviting applications for the position of UX Designer on a contractual basis for the India Handmade (Ministry of Textiles) Project.

• Conduct UX research, user interviews, usability studies, heuristic evaluations, and user journey analysis
• Perform UX audits of web and mobile applications to identify usability, accessibility, navigation, and information-architecture issues
• Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, mock-ups, interaction flows, and interactive prototypes
• Contribute to the redesign and improvement of large-scale government and public-service digital platforms
• Design user experiences for citizen portals, e-commerce platforms, vendor applications, analytics dashboards, and AI-enabled products
• Translate user research findings, behavioural insights, and stakeholder requirements into practical design improvements
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, implementation accuracy, and effective developer handover
• Support usability testing, feedback analysis, design validation, and iterative improvement of digital services
• Apply accessibility, inclusive-design, responsive-design, and user-centred-design principles
• Contribute to scalable design systems, reusable components, interface standards, and design guidelines
• Maintain design consistency across web, mobile, and other digital interfaces
• Prepare design documentation, presentations, visual assets, prototypes, and supporting materials
• Participate in stakeholder consultations, brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and product discussions
• Use data-driven insights to improve user engagement, task completion, adoption, and overall experience
