The Poshan Tracker initiative leverages SMS services provided by National Informatics Centre Services Inc. (NICSI) to support critical system functionalities including OTP-based authentication, AWW and official login verification, THR service delivery intimations, and beneficiary communication. It also facilitates dissemination of special information drives and advisories from the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) to Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and beneficiaries, ensuring timely and effective outreach. The system is designed to handle high-volume transactional messaging with scalable infrastructure, supporting both operational and awareness-driven communication requirements across the ecosystem.
