The Visual Speech Training System (VSTS) is a computer-based speech training system that uses information obtained by speech signal analysis to provide visual feedback of efforts involved in speech production. It has been developed for use as a speech training aid to assist in the acquisition of correct articulatory efforts by children with hearing impairments and second language learners. It can also be useful to speech therapists and speech training professionals as an analysis and diagnostic tool.
