AAINA-Dashboard for Cities
The project is an outcome of directions of Hon’ble PM who emphasized on a creation of ‘Dashboard for cities’ so as to compare themselves against other cities in their State as well as across the country.
Accordingly, a Dashboard for periodic reporting by all the ULBs against specified performance indicators is being developed. The dashboard will help the cities to:
- See how they are faring vis-à-vis other cities.
- Inspire them by pointing to possibilities and areas of improvement.
- Providing opportunity to learn and engage with frontrunners.
The details would be collected under different thematic areas viz. Political & Administrative Structure, Finance, Planning, Citizen-Centric Governance, and Delivery of Basic Services.
The portal would also provide the data of ULBs to general public which would benefit them in knowing the details of their interest.
The portal account at State/UT Level will be able to view the Indicators of the ULBs in that State/UT and would be able to monitor the status of data reporting by ULBs of that State/UT. The Central Account at MoHUA would be able to do the same for all the ULBs across all States/UT.
