The advisory services were given by the respective KVKs and DAATTCs of the SAUs from ANGRAU and PJTSAU, and the technical support was provided by DIC. AKPS elevated the presence of the Universities and enabled them to interact directly with their local scientists in their native language (Telugu) over a toll-free number. It disseminated location-specific information on their mobiles (text and voice messages in Telugu) and provided farmers the option to send their farm images and small videos using the smartphone application UMANG – AKPS. AKPS has been merged with Kisan Sarathi in December 2021 Video- https://www.facebook.com/akpsin/videos/517851421707732/
