DIC Core
Earlier the company was known as 'Media Lab Asia'. It has been renamed 'Digital India Corporation .Media Lab Asia (MLA) was set up in 2001, in collaboration with MIT Media Lab and Department of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India as a not-for-profit organization under Section 25 of Companies Act, 1956. The purpose was to explore ways in which technology could be identified, modified or generated afresh to diffuse their use throughout India on an affordable and sustainable basis. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) was recognized as being a powerful enabler with much leverage to bring about change to lower the gap between the lowest strata of society, and others through education, access to equipment and technology resulting in
empowerment.

NeGD (National e-Governance Division)
In 2009, National e-Governance Division was created by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology as an Independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation {erstwhile Media Lab Asia}.

MyGov
MyGov platform is a unique path breaking initiative which was launched on July 26, 2014 by none other than the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. It is a unique first of its kind participatory governance initiative involving the common citizen at large. The idea of MyGov brings the government closer to the common man by the use of online platform creating an interface for healthy and the Government.

INDIAai is knowledge portal, research organisation and an ecosystem building initiative. It stands to unite and promote collaborations with various entities in India’s AI ecosystem. The portal offers the latest and up-to-date information.

India Semiconductor Mission
India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) as an Independent Business Division within Digital India Corporation with administrative and financial autonomy to drive India’s strategies for developing semiconductors and display manufacturing ecosystem, and to act as nodal agency for this purpose.

MeitY Startup Hub
India is home to one of the most vibrant startup ecosystems with close to 8000 tech startups, making it the 2nd largest startup ecosystem in the world. Hence, innovation and entrepreneurship is the emerging focus area that is being aggressively promoted to give a fillip to the Indian economy. Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India is leading and facilitating a gamut of Innovation and IPR-related activities across the country towards the expansion of this ecosystem.
