Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and requirements.
2. Conduct detailed analysis, document business processes, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
3. Gather, validate, and document business requirements and user stories.
4. Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
5. Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions.
6. Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for new projects or changes.
7. Identify opportunities for business process improvements and automation.
8. Assist in the development of test cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
9. Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit stakeholder needs.
10. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
11. Document “As-Is” and “To-Be” processes using tools like BPMN, flowcharts, or UML.
12. Work with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the right solution is built.
13. Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
14. Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
15. Use tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau for data analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ information technology, or related fields.

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme. Those have been developed keeping the vision areas of Digital India at the core- providing digital infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen, governance and services on demand and in particular, digital empowerment of the citizens of our country; some of these initiatives include DigiLocker, UMANG, Poshan Tracker, OpenForge Platform, API Setu, National Academic Depository, Academic Bank of Credits, Learning Management System.
