Digital India Corporation is currently inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer for MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), an Independent Business Division of Digital India Corporation, purely on Contract/ Consolidated basis.

Term  : The vacancy is to be filled up purely on a fixed term basis, for the Period of 1 year or until end of the project whichever is earlier. However, the appointment may be extended by a further period of up to one year at a time, not exceeding a total of two years.Project Management & Project Appraisal


Age Limit : 35 to 55 years, as on the last date for submission of applications.


Duties & Responsibilities of
Chief Executive Officer

1. To strategies and plan for, and to manage the affairs, operations and business activities of MSH-IBD, for achievement of its purposes.
2. To ensure institution and implementation of rules, policies and procedures of MSH-IBD for its proper functioning and the achievement of its purposes;
3. To be responsible for the proper functioning of MSH-IBD and careful observance of rules, policies and procedures;
4. To provide leadership to the members of staff of MSH-IBD and encourage their development;
5. To nurture tech startups ecosystem in India through creating path breaking schemes and programs in association with MeitY and its stakeholders
6. Promote the MeitY startup policy through comprehensive research and consultations with startups and ecosystem stakeholders
7. Overall strategic guidance, framing procedures, guidelines, best practices etc. for coordination, consolidation, synergizing and success of MSH, its incubators, accelerators, CoEs and incubated start-ups.
8. Networking with government, industry, labs, academicians, mentors, service providers and other start-up ecosystem players as required.
9. Plan & execute activities within the pre-approved quarterly budget including verification and recommendation of release of capex/opex
10. Recruitment of other staff in consultation & approval of DIC/MeitY
11. Assignment of roles & responsibilities for effective execution of MSH-IBD
12. Any other responsibilities as assigned by MeitY from time to time.
