NeGD is currently inviting applications for the following positions purely on Contract basis initially for a period of 1 year which is further extendable as per the requirements of the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

●Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
●3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting for large-scale IT projects
●Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch queries
●Strong skills in BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
●Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration with API-based data sources
●Ability to work with structured, semi-structured (JSON, XML), and unstructured data
●Knowledge of statistical analysis and basic machine learning techniques is a plus
●Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools and automation techniques
●Awareness of data governance, compliance, and audit standards in public digital platforms
●Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
●Good to have certification: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau/Power BI Certification, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
