NeGD is currently inviting applications for the following positions purely on Contract basis initially for 1 year which is further extendable as per the requirement of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Programming Languages: Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
2. Data Tools: Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Airflow, DBT
3. Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Snowflake, BigQuery
4. Cloud Platforms: AWS (Redshift, S3), Azure (Data Lake), GCP (Big Query)
5. ETL/ELT Tools: Informatica, Talend, Apache Nifi, Fivetran
6. Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and distributed systems

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Engineering degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Master’s degree or certifications in cloud/data engineering are a plus

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
