NeGD is currently inviting applications for the following positions purely on Contract basis initially for a period of 2 years, which is further extendable as per the requirement of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Develop, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models for real-world use cases.
● Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and
deployment.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data teams, to integrate ML models into production environments.
● Implement MLOps practices using tools like MLflow, Airflow, or Kubeflow for robust experimentation and model lifecycle management.
● Work with both structured and unstructured data from various sources such as relational databases, data lakes, and APIs.
● Utilize cloud services(AWS, GCP, or Azure) for large-scale model training and deployment.
● Perform rigorous model performance analysis, tuning, and optimization to ensure reliability and scalability.
● Explore and implement state-of-the-art techniques in NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI, including prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector stores.
● Contribute to the development of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and AI assistants.
● Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, AI ethics, and compliance with privacy regulations.
● Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute innovative ideas to improve system performance.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related field

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
