Responsibilities:
i. Manage and maintain production and development databases on RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
ii. Ensure database availability, performance, and security across environments.
iii. Design and implement efficient schemas, indexes, queries, and procedures to optimize database performance.
iv. Set up and manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and data replication across environments.
v. Monitor database health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime or data loss.
vi. Work closely with development teams to support database needs and troubleshoot data-related issues.
vii. Assist in data migration, transformation, and ETL processes across modules.
viii. Implement and maintain role-based access control and encryption mechanisms (e.g., AES-256).
ix. Manage database logs and integrate monitoring tools like ELK Stack and OpenSearch.
x. Support DevOps in implementing CI/CD pipelines with database versioning and rollback capabilities.
xi. Perform audits, ensure compliance with data governance standards, and optimize cost for cloud resource usage.
