NeGD invites applications for the position in following division on deputation basis at level 11/12 from amongst officers holding regular positions in National e- Governance Division (NeGD) from Central & State Government, PSUs, Autonomous organizations and Statutory bodies of Government of India, States & UT Government.

A. Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors’ Degree of a recognized University/Institute in a suitable discipline viz Technology/Engineering etc.
Desirable Qualification and Experience
Post-Graduation in a suitable discipline and/ or MBA/PGDM.

B. Experience
• Must have experience of handling end-to-end project lifecycle activities, from conceptualization and design to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• To manage the Project/Program budget
• Managing and utilizing resources across projects
• Knowledge of Government of India Rules and Regulations and Government policies of State Government as well
• Experience into providing technical guidance on software architecture, system integration, API management, and cybersecurity strategies to safeguard critical government IT infrastructure.

C. Age Limit:

The maximum age limit in case of recruitment by deputation shall be as below on the closing date of receipt of application.
For the post level of 14 and above, shall not exceed 58 years.
For posts below level 14 of the pay matrix shall not exceed 56 years.

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme. Those have been developed keeping the vision areas of Digital India at the core- providing digital infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen, governance and services on demand and in particular, digital empowerment of the citizens of our country; some of these initiatives include DigiLocker, UMANG, Poshan Tracker, OpenForge Platform, API Setu, National Academic Depository, Academic Bank of Credits, Learning Management System.
