NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Front-End Developer – DigiLocker, Kenya, on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces for government digital platforms and portals
• Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, reusable front-end components
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Ensure compatibility across browsers, devices and screen sizes
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain front-end coding standards
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and debugging
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation and deployment activities
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
