Responsibilities
- Strong experience in Angular (Angular 8+ preferred) and related frontend technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, RxJS, and Angular Material
- Good understanding of Node.js ecosystem, npm, package management, and build tools
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system design principles
- Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP communication, and frontend-backend integration
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, UI rendering issues, and application bugs to improve user experience and application reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, scalable, and well-documented code following Angular best practices
- Experience with state management, lazy loading, route guards, dependency injection, and modular application architecture
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to design and deliver new features and enhancements
- Understanding of web application security principles, browser compatibility issues, and frontend performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud-hosted environments
- Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, Progressive Web Apps (PWA), and modern frontend development trends
- Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies, Angular ecosystem updates, and industry best practices
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme. Those have been developed keeping the vision areas of Digital India at the core- providing digital infrastructure as a core utility to every citizen, governance and services on demand and in particular, digital empowerment of the citizens of our country; some of these initiatives include DigiLocker, UMANG, Poshan Tracker, OpenForge Platform, API Setu, National Academic Depository, Academic Bank of Credits, Learning Management System.
