NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Full Stack Developer on a contractual basis for a period of three years, which may be further extended based on the requirements of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive frontend applications using React/Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, aligned with UX4G and WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Develop and integrate backend services using Node.js/Java/Python, REST APIs, microservices, API Gateway, and PostgreSQL or equivalent databases
  • Build role-based dashboards, dynamic forms, workflow screens, document-upload modules, milestone tracking, search, and certificate-verification interfaces
  • Integrate SSO and external services such as Meri Pehchaan, DigiLocker, Aadhaar/UIDAI, PayGov, Bharat VC, SMS/WhatsApp, and digital-signature services
  • Implement secure coding, authentication, authorization, validation, audit logging, performance optimisation, and error handling
  • Write unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews, support CI/CD deployments, resolve defects, and provide technical documentation and O&M support

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
