Digital India Corporation is currently inviting applications for the position of Full Stack Developer on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.js, leveraging modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, and state management libraries such as Redux and the Context API
• Design and implement server-side applications, APIs, and business logic using technologies such as Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django/FastAPI
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including data modelling, queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance optimisation
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, third-party services, and external systems
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, code review, refactoring, and productivity improvement while ensuring appropriate validation, security, and code quality
• Contribute to the development and integration of AI-enabled features using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI services, AI APIs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or similar technologies, wherever applicable
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, QA teams, DevOps engineers, data teams, AI/ML teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable application architecture and reusable software components
• Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, integration testing, performance optimisation, and resolution of application defects
• Implement secure coding practices including authentication, authorisation, encryption, input validation, API security, and protection against common application vulnerabilities
• Support application deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance across development, testing, staging, and production environments
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, containerisation, and cloud-based deployment environments
• Maintain application documentation, API specifications, technical design documents, deployment procedures, and source-code documentation
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure adherence to software engineering standards, coding guidelines, quality standards, security requirements, data privacy requirements, and organisational development practices
• Mentor junior developers, promote reusable development practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
