Full Stack Developer (AI + Rust)
NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Full Stack Developer (AI + Rust) on a contractual basis for a period of three years, which may be further extended based on the requirements of the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Frontend Experience: Proficiency with React.js/Next.js or Leptos/Tauri(or similar frontend framework), alongside HTML5, Tailwind CSS, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Preference for understanding of state management techniques and experience with signals, hooks, Redux Saga, or similar
Backend Experience: Strong backend coding skills in Rust(or Go or Erlang) and Python or Node.js(Nest.js) with experience building RESTful and WebSocket APIs. Expected to understand serverless services and integration with third-party services and production experience with languages like Rust, Go, or Erlang
End-to-End Development: Architected and maintained the full technology stack, bridging modern UI frameworks, backend microservices, and AI models. Preference for understanding of SDLC best practices and Tech Debt optimization
AI Integration: Built intelligent tools and AI-driven workflows by integrating frameworks such as LangChain/ADK, including function calling, streaming outputs, and LLM orchestration. Preference for understanding of deploying RAG pipeline in production, MCP/A2A protocols, and self-hosted LLMs
Infrastructure: Experience with CI/CD best practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Preference for understanding of cloud-native services that can be leveraged for scalability and reliability
Database: Worked with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra. Preference for understanding optimized queries, scalable data access, and reliable performance
Security: Implemented application security best practices, including authentication, authorization, RBAC, and secure handling of API endpoints and sensitive data
Testing & Quality Assurance: Applied Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to deliver clean, maintainable, and production-ready code with comprehensive test coverage

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)
The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
