NeGD is currently inviting applications for the following positions purely on Contract basis initially for a period of 3 years which is further extendable as per the requirement of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend and frontend components for AI-based web applications.
• Implement intelligent workflows using Langchain and integrate AI capabilities through Vercel AI SDK, including function calling and streaming outputs.
• Build secure, high-performance RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Work with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra, ensuring optimized queries and data access.
• Apply TDD (Test-Driven Development) principles and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Manage codebase using Git and participate in regular code reviews.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) and containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Implement serverless deployment strategies and data pipelines using tools like Airflow or Airbyte.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and actively contribute in sprints and team discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
