Responsibilities

  • Manage HR operations across recruitment support, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave, contract renewals, exits, and HR documentation
  • Maintain updated employee master data, HRMIS records, manpower trackers, vacancy trackers, and contract expiry/renewal trackers
  • Coordinate with internal divisions for manpower requirements, interview scheduling, selection documentation, joining formalities, and employee deployment
  • Support preparation of HR notes, office orders, approval drafts, engagement letters, extension letters, relieving letters, and other HR communications
  • Coordinate with manpower agencies, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for outsourced/contractual staff management
  • Ensure timely payroll inputs related to joining, exits, attendance, leave, deductions, and contract changes
  • Prepare periodic HR dashboards and MIS reports for senior management
  • Support implementation of HR policies, SOPs, checklists, and process improvements
  • Handle employee queries and support grievance tracking in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure proper maintenance of HR records for audit, review, RTI, parliamentary questions, and internal compliance purposes

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
