NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Product Manager on a contractual basis for a period of three years.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that increase adoption and usage, improve overall user experience and drive growth
• Lead the UI/UX team to carry out UX research, creation of wireframes and prototypes and information architecture for different types of frontend interfaces
• Create UI and UX design guidelines and standards that can be used to improve the overall User Experience of these applications
• Handhold different departments to implement these guidelines
• Lead team for UX design of different frontend interfaces of UMANG
• Provide guidance to the development team for development, testing and deployment of reusable component repositories in different languages and libraries (Javascript – React, Vue, Angular, Svelte etc, HTML, CSS, Mobile Apps – Android, iOS, React Native etc., Bot frontends)
• The job holder will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting the progress of the project implementation to relevant stakeholders and highlighting and mitigating risks especially w.r.t design and technology
• Translate business requirements to product design, development, and execution
• Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
• Discuss and communicate capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Liaise & coordinate with internal NeGD teams and relevant external agencies to come up with solutions for critical problems and issues being faced during implementation
• Perform product demos to customers

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
