NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Product Manager  on a contractual basis for a period of three years, which may be further extended based on the requirements of the project.

Responsibilities

• Own requirement clarity for assigned scheme clusters — user stories, business rules, acceptance criteria, and release scope definitions
• Work with ministry SPOCs and stakeholders to refine process requirements across registration, training, assessment, certification, placement, and support workflows
• Convert ticket trends, change requests, and operational pain points into structured, prioritised backlog items
• Support UAT planning, business sign-off preparation, and release readiness from a functional perspective
• Maintain backlog hygiene and traceability from requirement through build, test, release, and post-release feedback
• Partner with UI/UX, engineering, and delivery leads to reduce ambiguity before build begins
• Act as the working-level SPOC for assigned ministry scheme counterparts

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
