NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Program Manager / General Manager on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall programme vision for One Pension One Portal (OPOP), cross-team coordination & stakeholder alignment across all workstreams (DoPPW, MeitY/NeGD, implementation agency & allied bodies such as CPAO, DoE & disbursing banks)
• Drive strategic decision-making, manage budgets, timelines & risks at the programme level, ensuring alignment between DoPPW’s business objectives & platform delivery
• Chair/participate in Joint Steering Committee & governance forums, and represent the programme in reviews with DoPPW, MeitY & NITI Aayog
• Oversee phased delivery across Phase 1 (Base Platform), Phase 2 (Service Integrations), Phase 3 (Inter-Ministry Integration) & Phase 4 (O&M)
• Ensure adherence to DPDP Act 2023, WCAG 2.1 AA & GIGW 3.0 requirements at the programme governance level
• Manage vendor/agency performance, SLAs, escalations & contractual milestones for the engaged System Integrator
• Provide periodic progress, financial & risk reporting to NeGD & DoPPW leadership

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
