NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Project Manager on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: 

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Stakeholder Coordination: 

• Collaborate with government department & agencies, and external partners to gather requirements and define project deliverables
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency

Monitoring and Reporting: 

• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Measure project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders

Risk Management: 

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs

Compliance and Quality Assurance: 

• Ensure all projects adhere to government policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain high-quality standards in all project deliverables

Team Leadership: 

• Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure optimal productivity

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
