NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Project Manager – DigiLocker, Kenya, on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for NeGD leadership, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and partner foreign ministry delegates.
• Formulate, baseline, and manage full project lifecycle schedules, scope boundaries, resource allocation plans, and G2G funding track records.
• Establish robust cross-border governance framework including steering committees, bi-weekly progress reviews, strategic risk escalation matrix, and regulatory alignment checks.
• Direct cross-functional teams across enterprise architecture, cloud hosting, DPI core platforms (identity, payments, consent artifacts), localization/translation,
  security auditing, and international data privacy compliance.
• Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and third-party security auditor scope to ensure strict compliance with project milestones.
• Lead change management efforts, capacity building, and knowledge transfer strategy to empower the recipient foreign government entity for post-implementation sustainability.

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
