NeGD is currently inviting applications for the following positions purely on Contract basis initially for a period of 2 year which is further extendable as per the requirement of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor systems for security breaches or vulnerabilities using tools such as SIEMs.
• Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents in real-time, coordinating remediation efforts with other teams.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
• Policy Development: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Penetration Testing: Perform or coordinate penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses in systems.
• Security Awareness: Train employees on security best practices, promoting a security-first mindset within the organization.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, vulnerabilities, and actions taken.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in cybersecurity or IT security roles

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
