Duties & Responsibilities of Senior Manager (Sr. Consultant) (Economic Planning)

i. Provide in-house advisory guidance about the policy research matters related to MeitY
ii. Keep informed of the policies/ regulations/ laws of other economies and international organizations on the subjects related to MeitY.
iii. Examine the policy research studies undertaken by different organizations and institutes and undertake the research studies as per interest related to the Digital Economy Division.
iv. Undertake studies related to the role of the digital economy and digital technologies on other sectors of the economy and different spectrum of stakeholders.
v. Study and research on various multilateral fora and technical issues on the digital economy such as data flows, data privacy & protection, emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, Blockchain, etc.
vi. Any other activity required with respect to the above-outlined process.

About NeGD

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
