NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Sr. Consultant (IT Integration/ digital innovation)on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of integration frameworks
• Oversee the migration and modernization of legacy IT systems into secure, scalable, and interoperable architectures
• Recommend and deploy emerging technologies (e.g., APIs, cloud solutions, AI-assisted analytics) to improve system performance and user experience
• Should be pro in data visualization software. Perform data mapping, spatial analysis, and data management
• Foster innovation for process automation, real-time data exchange, and decision support systems
• Collaborate with the National Health Authority, converged Ministry/Department, NIC, state health departments, and technology vendors for alignment of IT initiatives
• Provide technical guidance to the converged Ministry/Department team for integration and data standardisation
• Develop technical manuals, SOPs, and training modules for integration processes
• Build capacity of relevant stakeholders to manage and sustain integrated systems
• Track performance metrics for integrated systems
• Prepare periodic progress reports and technical briefs for senior leadership
• Any other task relevant to the convergence scheme

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
