Digital India Corporation is inviting applications for the position of Sr. Database Engineer purely on Contract/ Consolidated basis

Responsibilities:

i. Design, implement, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases including Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift
ii. Build and optimize data models, schema design, indexes, and stored procedures for high-performance web and mobile applications
iii. Implement efficient data pipelines, ETL jobs, and transformations aligned with Redshift and S3-based architectures
iv. Monitor and fine-tune performance of databases; analyze slow queries and manage indexes
v. Manage database access control, authentication, and security policies using Keycloak, JWT, and AES-256 encryption
vi. Handle data caching and visualization integration using Redash and CloudFront
vii. Support message-driven workflows and event-driven architecture involving RabbitMQ
viii. Manage and optimize database networking and routing with API Gateway and ELB (Elastic Load Balancer)
ix. Automate database deployment, monitoring, and alerting with Docker, Jenkins, AWS pipelines, ELK Stack, and OpenSearch
x. Ensure high availability, backups, disaster recovery, and data compliance
xi. Collaborate with backend developers (Laravel PHP), DevOps, and frontend teams (React JS/React Native) to align database structure with application logic
xii. Maintain detailed documentation on database design, processes, configurations, and access logs
