NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Sr. Software Developer (.NET) on a contractual basis for a period of three years, which may be further extended based on the requirements of the project.

Technical Skills:

• Strong development experience in C#, .NET (Framework 4.x, 5, 8, 10), ASP.NET Web API, with solid understanding of MVC architecture
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and MySQL, including database design, normalization, and writing complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server/MySQL performance tuning — indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and query optimization for high-volume reporting systems
• Front-end development using React (TypeScript), HTML, CSS, and responsive UI design
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web services / Web APIs, including authentication (JWT) and secure data handling
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles, with practical application of Dependency Injection for building loosely coupled, testable systems
• Strong grasp of design patterns (e.g., Repository, Singleton, Factory) for building scalable, maintainable, and testable code
• Understanding of secure web development practices — input validation, protection against SQL injection/XSS/CSRF, secure authentication/authorization, and safe handling of sensitive data
• Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills, with experience reverse-engineering and maintaining legacy/undocumented codebases
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
• Hands-on experience with application deployment on IIS/Windows and Linux servers, including configuration and environment troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of clustered/distributed database environments (e.g., Percona XtraDB Cluster) is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams, translating requirements into scalable technical solutions
