MyGov is currently inviting applications for the position of Sr. WordPress Developer on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable WordPress websites and applications.
• Develop custom themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and reusable components using WordPress coding standards.
• Build secure, high-performance solutions using WordPress, PHP, and modern development practices.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, third-party services, SSO/OAuth/JWT, and external platforms.
• Optimize application and database performance using caching, CDN, indexing, and code optimization.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical estimation, and release planning.
• Follow secure coding practices and OWASP recommendations.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, deployment, and infrastructure automation.
• Mentor junior developers and follow established development standards.
