NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Tech Lead – DigiLocker, Kenya, on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team and Systems Integrators in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native microservices and Digital Public Infrastructure
  (DPI) modules.
• Define application architecture, tech stack standards, database schemas, and secure API contracts (REST), ensuring seamless integration with third-party and
  foreign government legacy systems.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce strict DevSecOps practices, static/dynamic code security analysis, and maintain high code quality, security, and performance
  baselines.
• Guide the implementation of multi-tenant, localized, and multilingual user interface components supporting foreign-country languages and regulatory
  requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Security teams to break down functional requirements into technical tasks, sprint backlogs, and
  execution timelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex architectural bottlenecks, high-concurrency performance issues, production bugs, and vulnerability remediation highlighted
  during STQC/CERT-In security audits.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
