NeGD is currently inviting applications for the position of Technical Lead on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical direction across the OPOP development team; review architecture, design & code for quality, security & scalability
• Bridge the gap between engineering execution & the overall solution architecture, mentoring developers & ensuring adherence to coding standards & best practices
• Resolve complex technical issues across the layered OPOP architecture (application/service layer, API-first integration layer, data layer & cloud infrastructure layer)
• Guide integration of core modules (Bhavishya, CPENGRAMS, Anubhav, DLC) with shared identity/SSO, validation, notification & MIS services
• Support integration with external systems such as EIS/PFMS, PAO/CPAO, DigiLocker, Aadhaar, DARPG & Bhashini
• Work closely with the Cloud Architect, DBA & DevOps team on deployment, performance tuning & production readiness
• Ensure technical deliverables comply with DPDP Act 2023, WCAG 2.1 AA, GIGW 3.0 & CERT-In security guidelines

About National e-Governance Division (NeGD)

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.
