NeGD is currently inviting applications for the Technical Lead position on a contractual basis, initially for three years, with possible extensions as the project requires.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for the build, and lead the developers, mobile developers and automation engineers day-to-day
• Take over the codebase from the incumbent vendors, and confirm that the team can build and release it without them
• Plan and run sprints against the module sequence agreed with the Programme Manager
• Set coding standards, review code, and hold the branching and release discipline
• Own the test strategy and the release acceptance, working with the QA Automation Engineers in place of a separate QA Lead
• Lead the upgrade of Node.js and React to supported versions
• Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents, and see the fixes through

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) is an independent business division under the Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of e-Governance projects and initiatives undertaken by various Ministries/ Departments, both at the Central and State levels.

NeGD has been spearheading several innovative initiatives under the aegis of the Digital India Programme.
