MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat)

MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 31st October 2023, to create one of the country's largest digital ecosystems for youth engagement, participation, and nation-building. The platform serves as a unified gateway connecting young citizens with opportunities in volunteering, experiential learning, leadership development, skill enhancement, civic participation, innovation, and national development initiatives.

With millions of registered youth and organisations across all States and Union Territories, MY Bharat enables meaningful youth participation through volunteer opportunities, events, internships, quizzes, campaigns, learning programmes, and community-driven initiatives, thereby fostering active citizenship and contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat.

MY Bharat 2.0

MY Bharat 2.0 is the next-generation evolution of the platform, being implemented by the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, in collaboration with Digital India Corporation (DIC). The initiative aims to establish a comprehensive, scalable, and future-ready digital ecosystem that seamlessly connects youth, government departments, educational institutions, civil society organisations, and private sector stakeholders.

The project focuses on:

• Re-architecting and modernising the MY Bharat platform using scalable cloud-native technologies for web and mobile applications.
• Establishing a National Youth Registry to create a unified and authenticated youth database.
• Enabling youth access to opportunities such as volunteering, experiential learning programmes, internships, jobs, events, mentorship, and skill development initiatives.
• Providing organisations and institutions with a digital platform to onboard, create opportunities, engage youth, and monitor participation.
• Delivering end-to-end digital services, secure cloud infrastructure, APIs, helpdesk, CRM, and support systems.
• Leveraging artificial intelligence for personalised recommendations, multilingual conversational interfaces, chatbots, WhatsApp-based engagement, and intelligent analytics.
• Facilitating seamless integration with government and third-party digital platforms through secure APIs.
• Enabling data-driven governance through real-time dashboards, reporting systems, and advanced analytics.

Vision

MY Bharat 2.0 aims to create a single, integrated digital ecosystem for youth engagement and development, empowering young citizens to actively participate in nation-building while strengthening collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, development partners, and industry stakeholders. The platform is envisioned as a key enabler for fostering youth leadership, civic participation, employability, innovation, and inclusive development across India.
